Happy 6th Birthday!

I am finally 6 years old! I was so excited that I woke up at 6:00 a.m.! Mommy usually makes a special breakfast for us but I decided that I would rather have donuts. Don't we look like we're having a blast? My sister and I are just happy that we get the day off from school!

After breakfast we moved on to opening presents. I got so many wonderful gifts!

My sister decided that she wanted to go to Chuck E. Cheese's for her special day. As soon as we sat down I spotted the basketball game! I know that I am not tall enough to play by myself and I also know that Daddy is the only one who can help me. He ate as fast as he could because I wouldn't stop pointing and telling him that I wanted to play!

There is a virtual roller coaster ride that I couldn't stop talking about in the days leading up to our visit to CEC. I figured that the birthday girl would love to take a ride with me. Looks like we didn't know what we were getting ourselves into.

Ah, yes!
The annual showdown between Daddy and the Ragin' Ape. Of course Daddy won and the whole family cheered him on!

Tickets! Must earn more tickets!

Beep, beep! Outta my way! Stuart and I have places to go and people to see!

I had the best birthday and my cake was pretty good too!

Surgery Day

This is the day that I am having my tonsils and adenoids removed and tubes added to my sweet little ears. My family woke up really early to go to the hospital. First, we had to wear fancy bracelets so that everyone knew that they were with me! Then we were taken to a room with lots of beds and small tv's. My sisters and I had fun watching cartoons while we waited.

After lots of doctors came and talked to Mommy and Daddy they finally let me put on this handsome nightgown. I also got to choose which "flavor" of sleepy medicine I wanted. I chose strawberry! Then it was time to be wheeled away...

My sisters passed the time watching some more cartoons and hanging out in front of the vending machines wishing that they had brought some change with them.
My family had to wait a very long time for me. My surgery went well but I had some problems breathing when I woke up. I wasn't getting enough oxygen. They finally brought my Mommy back and she made sure that I kept the oxygen mask on my face. When my numbers were good they let me move to another floor where they could keep an eye on me!

This is the bed that I spent the rest of my stay in. I wasn't happy about that big thing on my arm but stickers helped! They said I had to keep it on so that I wouldn't pull my IV out. It worked! I had to stay overnight just to be sure that I was breathing okay. I ate lots of lemon ice and took walks around the hallways. First thing in the morning, Daddy and my sisters came to get us. They told me that I had lots of presents waiting at home! :)

My Garden 2010

Here is my garden! I have 2 tomato plants and a lot of flowers. I had to put up some fencing because the bunnies think it's a buffet.

Cozy Kitten

Our kitten loves Daddy. She even loves to sleep on his clothes. Mommy was folding Daddy's t-shirts when Sherman laid down on the first shirt. Mommy figured that if she put another shirt on top of Sherman that she would get up and leave. Wrong. Sherman stayed and seemed to enjoy having t-shirts piled on top of her!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Happy Birthday to our Yeahyo Daddy-o!

Visit with Gramma & Papa

We took a trip to see our Gramma & Papa for their 45th Wedding Anniversary! (That's a long time!)

The first thing they did was put me to work! Just kidding. I found a shovel and started digging a hole in their back yard. I probably dug about 2 feet down when Mommy told me to watch out for ticks and then I threw my shovel down and headed indoors! Ah, it was fun while it lasted.

This is my Papa. He made my sister and me some small doll houses. I thought it was a great idea until he made me do math, on my vacation! I had to figure out angles and measurements, but in the end it was all worth it.
I'm sitting in my Papa's truck, with my very own hammer, supervising all that is going on around me. I heard something about doll houses but all I was interested in was hammering on anything I could find. Oh yeah, and eating my sucker, yum!
Ahhhhh, this is the life!
The day was so hot that we decided to run through the sprinkler! My sister and I took turns to see who could jump over the freezing water. That water felt great!
