I thought it would be cool if I styled my own hair today.

Playing makes me tired.

Blocks

My sister and I like to build pyramids and stairs with our blocks. My brother likes to dump the whole bucket of blocks on the floor. Then we all find other things to play with while the pile of blocks sits in the middle of the floor just waiting for Mommy to walk by and step on them!

Well, here it is! It has finally started bloomin'. I'm thinking about charging a fee to all the looky loos. My hard work has payed off though. I am harvesting a couple of tomatoes a day. Mommy is starting to run out of space to store them. I need to come up with some good ideas for tomatoes. One can only eat so many sandwiches...
Hey there! Daddy and I are just hanging out, playing a video game. It's all fun and games until I start trying yank the controller out of Daddy's hands. Then things get ugly.

There's a Storm a Brewin'

This is how it started on Monday night. Daddy went to church and while he was gone there was a tornado warning. Mommy, my sisters and I hurried to the basement to hide out. We even brought the dog along. I think my sisters were more worried about the dog than about me!
When the warning was over we headed back upstairs to find Daddy walking through the door. He had no idea that there had even been a tornado in the area! We thanked Jesus for bringing him home safely and for taking care of us. It was bedtime so Mommy and Daddy put us all in our cages...I mean beds and off to sleep we went.
While we were dreaming sweet dreams this is what happened. (see above photo) The storms rolled through again and there was an amazing light show (so I hear). The wind was blowing, lightning was flashing, thunder was cracking and trees were falling! The power went out and Mommy and Daddy were wandering around the house bumping into each other (not really but that would have been funny).
Eventually the power came back on and they could see that there were some big branches in the street. Mommy and Daddy wanted to make sure that my sister's garden was okay so they headed outside (they were being nosey too). Fortunately Daddy was able to save the tomato plants with his big muscles. They were laying on their side but Daddy was able to force the supports back into the ground and now we will have tomatoes for our sandwiches!
They noticed that the streets were quiet, which is unusual for our neck of the woods. As they ventured to the end of the block they found the street was blocked with fallen trees. This is a picture of the tree that almost hit our church. The section of sidewalk that was sitting over the roots of the tree is now standing up. Oh what a night. I miss all the good stuff!

This is the face I would have made if I would have been awake.
