The Greatest Show on Earth

Today Mommy and Daddy took us to the Circus! Woohoo! Mommy's favorite part was the elephants. They are sooooooooo cute. Especially when they are sitting up :)

I look really excited to be here don't I? I just don't know what's in store for me yet. Mommy, why did you have to go and take my binkie out of my mouth?

How groovy are our hats? The cotton candy was good too!

This is what a long afternoon at the circus will do to a fella.

Have You Seen this Character?

Wester night at AWANA and I'm gonna lasso me a varmint!

My Gross Sock

This is me eating my sock.

This is what my yucky, slobbery sock looks like after it's been in my mouth most of the car ride home. Mommy thought that she shouldn't be the only one to enjoy this image.

Enjoy!

Where'd we find these Yeahyos?

A Day at the Orchard

We went to the apple orchard with the youth group. My brother and I spent the day playing with Mommy. My sister was with Daddy picking apples, finding a pumpkin and getting lost in a corn maze. Believe it or not we didn't lose anyone!
I thought this bike was pretty cool!

We took a break when everyone came back from the orchard with their bags of apples.

What do you think of my big ol' rockin' chair?

This is what I would look like if I was an apple farmer.

Choo, Choo!! All aboard the apple train!

Today I was brave enough to try things all by myself! Mommy was very proud of me!
Unfortunately, she was eaten by bugs :(

Scary!!!

Playing makes me tired.

Blocks

My sister and I like to build pyramids and stairs with our blocks. My brother likes to dump the whole bucket of blocks on the floor. Then we all find other things to play with while the pile of blocks sits in the middle of the floor just waiting for Mommy to walk by and step on them!

Well, here it is! It has finally started bloomin'. I'm thinking about charging a fee to all the looky loos. My hard work has payed off though. I am harvesting a couple of tomatoes a day. Mommy is starting to run out of space to store them. I need to come up with some good ideas for tomatoes. One can only eat so many sandwiches...
Hey there! Daddy and I are just hanging out, playing a video game. It's all fun and games until I start trying yank the controller out of Daddy's hands. Then things get ugly.

There's a Storm a Brewin'

This is how it started on Monday night. Daddy went to church and while he was gone there was a tornado warning. Mommy, my sisters and I hurried to the basement to hide out. We even brought the dog along. I think my sisters were more worried about the dog than about me!
When the warning was over we headed back upstairs to find Daddy walking through the door. He had no idea that there had even been a tornado in the area! We thanked Jesus for bringing him home safely and for taking care of us. It was bedtime so Mommy and Daddy put us all in our cages...I mean beds and off to sleep we went.
While we were dreaming sweet dreams this is what happened. (see above photo) The storms rolled through again and there was an amazing light show (so I hear). The wind was blowing, lightning was flashing, thunder was cracking and trees were falling! The power went out and Mommy and Daddy were wandering around the house bumping into each other (not really but that would have been funny).
Eventually the power came back on and they could see that there were some big branches in the street. Mommy and Daddy wanted to make sure that my sister's garden was okay so they headed outside (they were being nosey too). Fortunately Daddy was able to save the tomato plants with his big muscles. They were laying on their side but Daddy was able to force the supports back into the ground and now we will have tomatoes for our sandwiches!
They noticed that the streets were quiet, which is unusual for our neck of the woods. As they ventured to the end of the block they found the street was blocked with fallen trees. This is a picture of the tree that almost hit our church. The section of sidewalk that was sitting over the roots of the tree is now standing up. Oh what a night. I miss all the good stuff!

This is the face I would have made if I would have been awake.

My Garden

Well, it has finally grown taller than Daddy and it isn't finished yet! For those of you who don't know how tall Daddy is, he is 6' 7"...that's tall!!

This is one of my smaller sunflowers that came straight from a little seed.

Here are the first tomatoes that blossomed. There are a whole lot more on the top of my plants. I can't wait for them to ripen. I'm offically a gardener!

Playing in the Water

This is my garden that Miss Ingrid and I planted together.
On the left is my HUGE sunflower. It is not finished growing yet and it is already taller than Mommy. Since Mommy isn't very tall we'll be more amazed when it is taller than Daddy! There are 3 small sunflowers in the middle and 2 tomato plants on the right. We have some big green tomatoes already and some baby tomatoes just starting out. I am so excited!
I water my garden everyday and every couple of weeks Miss Ingrid comes over and we weed. Oh and on the far right is a raspberry bush that was already here when we moved in. The raspberries are ripening and they are sooooo yummy. It's the first place that Mr. Peabody goes when we let him outside :)

My sister is always taking videos of me. Lately we've been working on learning what different animals sound like. I'm a silly little boy!

Oh and by the way, I'm not always this much of a stinker.

This is what happens when my sisters shut their bedroom door on me. I yell and bang on the door until Mommy tells them to open up.

I had the pleasure of sampling a delicacy tonight. Are you ready for this? Dog Food!! Yummy!! Of course I thought it was for me. It was sitting right there in a bowl, on the floor. Who else was it intended for?

Happy Father's Day

Our Daddy had the pleasure of preaching on Father's Day and these are the shirts that we surprised him with. We had a good time celebrating with Daddy and Papa. We sure missed our Pop though :(

I had a yummy princess cake with chocolate inside! I wish all of you could have been here to have a piece with me!

Happy Birthday

My birthday was on Sunday. We decided to go to Chuck E. Cheese on Saturday so that we could take Daddy and Papa out to eat for Father's Day on Sunday. Mommy, Daddy, Gramma, Papa and Aunt Brenda took me! Of course my brother and sister went too. We had a great time playing games and earning tickets. You should have seen how many prizes we won!

Here's my sister playing some crazy snowmobile game. She thought she knew what she was doing when she put the token in. Little did she know that she was going to crash again and again. I won't be driving with her anytime soon.

Here is my baby brother. He thought this ride was pretty cool. He was curious about Chuck E. and examined him during the ride.

I got some new pajamas with my picture on the shirt!

Thursday, June 5, 2008

We spent all morning with Mommy and Daddy at the office so I missed my nap. I was supposed to be eating lunch but decided to catch a few winks instead.

We took Daddy to the aquarium for his birthday. We had a blast! There were dolphins, baby whales and sharks!

This is the big guy with a fish in front of the aquarium. There is money in the water behind us. Mommy was quick enough to yell, "Don't take the money and don't touch the dirty water!" before we could get our hands wet.

We helped Daddy blow out his candles on his yummy ice cream cake. Daddy had a great birthday and we had tons of fun! Oh and he got so really great gifts too...everybody knows how much Daddy loves gifts!
