Yeah, I'm a Fan
Mommy just realized that it looks like I only have one shirt. The truth is that I am always picking this one to put on. I love Cardinal Baseball!!Home Sweet Home!
We are home now! It took a few days for me to be able to sit and walk again on my own. I guess it was from the medication. I am back to my normal busy self. Today I told Mommy that I wanted a bath so she said, "Okay, let's go take one!". I ran into the bathroom and when she got there I was already in the bathtub with my pajamas still on. This is me at the children's hospital. They gave me a big boy bed so that Mommy could sleep with me. I was having a very hard time being there but as soon as Mommy snuggled me, I went right to sleep. I had some awesome little tigers on my gown! I had my third seizure in the emergency room at this hospital. I underwent several tests and the doctors can't pinpoint the cause of the seizures. I am home now and my neurologist says that we will continue with daily medication for the next three months. If I don't have another seizure between now and then, they will slowly take me off of the medication!! Jesus has taken great care of me and my family and we know that He is sovereign!!
April 13, 2009 was a Terrible Day!
For those of you who do not know the whole story, here it goes...My family traveled to St. Louis on Saturday, April 11th, to see my Pop. He was in a really bad motorcycle accident and is still in the hospital. While I was there I had the stomach flu and it wasn't going away. I didn't have a fever but I couldn't keep anything down. So, Mommy and I hung out in the hotel on Resurrection Sunday while Daddy and my sisters spent some time with my Pop in the hospital.
Monday morning Daddy got up to go get some donuts and while he was out he got a flat tire. Daddy was planning on going to the hospital to spend some time with my Pop before he went into surgery. Because of the flat tire Daddy couldn't make it to the hospital in time because he was getting the tire fixed. While Daddy was at the repair shop I was hanging out on the bed with Mommy, my Aunt Brenda and my sisters. Then it happened...I had my first seizure.
Mommy called 911, Aunt Brenda sat with me and my sisters got dressed. The ambulance came and took me to the hospital. This is a picture of me in the hospital with my baby and blanket.
I was given fluids and sent home because I didn't have any history of seizures. Daddy carried me to the car and when we got there I had another seizure. Daddy ran me back to the pediatric emergency room and they gave me some medicine to stop the seizure. I was transferred to Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital.

We are going to the Easter Egg Hunt at church. We listened to a really awesome puppet show and then we hunted for plastic eggs. We got to keep all of the treats inside the eggs like candy and stickers. Then when they called the number drawn on our hands we got to pick out toys from a table. Wii in our Pajamas!
Daddy and I are playing golf. 
Of course I had to get involved in the game. When I saw everyone with one of these strapped to their wrist, I cried until Mommy put one on me. I have no idea what it's for but I look just like everyone else and that's all that matters!
